Is laser tag safe for kids?

The short answer.

Yes. Laser tag is one of the safest active games a child can play. Nothing physical is fired: hits are recorded electronically by a sensor in each gun, so there’s nothing to feel and nothing to dodge.

Junior Laser Tag runs from School Year 1 (most are 5 or 6), with no projectiles, no masks needed and only your party on the zone.

From age 12, children can play the standard long-range outdoor laser tag.

Why it doesn’t hurt.

  • Nothing is fired. The guns record hits electronically.

  • A private zone: children never play against another party or unfamiliar players.
