Andy was a really good instructor, and helped me understand how to shoot.

Loved the activities. Incredibly nice staff and they explained everything great. The competition idea was the one. Overall lovely experience

Absolutely amazing! Really kind staff and a special shout-out to Andy for helping me find the best technique at the axe throwing! ( I won by far! )

Awesome experience! Emily was super friendly and made sure that we had a super time, 10/10 really sweaty, would do it again!

We've been here twice already and both times have been fantastic. The staff are amazing and the whole experience was something else. Thank you for accepting our booking and thank you for making our time exceptional.

Expansive outdoor arena with a variety of objectives to keep games interesting. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, especially toward new players. Would recommend.

Great fields great set up great price. And the staff really look after you and are so friendly! Definitely will be returning

Amazing day training for the zombie apocalypse, fitted us in last minute as well. Turns out I’m better with an axe than I expected 😆

As a girl, who was a nervous wreck at the start…. I can honestly say after game 2 I was a different person😂 SO MUCH FUN! Massive shout out to Clarky and Angie who went above and beyond to make the experience great for our group. Would recommend getting the upgraded gun, gloves and extra paint combo (Clarky deal!) as it was well worth it. I ended up having so much more fun that I expected and getting fully stuck in - asking Angie for strategy tips haha😂 The games are great, well designed and the course is huge - so lots of variation. Thanks again to all the team

Me and my boyfriend had a paintballing session booked here a few weeks ago... it was FAB!! We were teamed up with great players and had a laugh the whole way through, especially winning a Prat of the day award! Paintballing was so much fun and we can't wait to come back soon. Thank you again Clarky and Angie for making the experience so fun, you were great to us!

Group of us came for a stag and had an excellent time with the paintball, well run site and equipment. Charlie who lead our group was brilliant, clearly knows his stuff and ran things in a very welcoming and efficient way - would happily recommend our experience to others.

Absolutely awesome place. Thank you so much for a lovely morning. We went axe throwing (2 of us) and we had a great time with Andy. Andy made it super fun and gave us his full time and made us feel so welcomed. Very well organised and tidy and lovely staff. 100% recommend. Charlotte and Paul x

Second visit here, last time was 3 years ago, great experience. Good to see they're taking the steps to maintain it for wear and tear. Thank you Clarkie for making it a memorable experience!

Clarkie and Liam were great, great fun had by all. Safe and well organised.

Professionally run and a lot of fun! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and this business has a wide range of activities for different ages. The staff are fantastic to be around and they handled our youth club very well.

Had my lad Billy's 6th birthday party here on Sunday and all I can say is superb. Friendly staff and management, organised safe and well run, kids loved it, great food and will 100% be back. Highly recommend from us 🤘

Very friendly staff We had a fantastic paintball game Great experience We'll surely go again 👍🏾👍🏾

I booked a party for my 10 year old. It was honestly amazing. The team are so so lovely and took care of the children but it was so well organised I could not fault anything. All of the children said they had the best time! The party room was “zombie” themed and it was soooo good. We were offered other options if we wanted them. We would absolutely do it again tomorrow! What an amazing place! Thank you! Special shout out to Charlie and Frazier who looked after us during the session.

Due to an error on my part, we arrived to find the centre closed for maintenance. The staff extremely kindly opened for us and gave my daughter a fabulous 15th birthday party! We are so, so grateful for the amazing experIence. Emily and Andy were such fun, knowledgeable and professional. The owner is also an amazing person too and we thank everyone for being so accommodating and kind. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the centre to anyone young or older!

Emily and Clarky were amazing! Great hosts that entertained us between games. Had an amazing time for a stag do. Would absolutely recommend and make sure you let Clarky talk you into an upgrade!

Ha a really good time nice areas for shooting had a lot of fun will definitely come again (staff gave us some free paint balls as well)😊

Fabulous day at Classic paintballing. Clarkey & Charlie were fabulous and really made the day

Amazing experience, we were looked after so well by Emily, she was clear in her explanations and patient with a large group of hens! So much fun, thanks again!

Andy and Emily were amazing, 100% recommend to anyone looking to do a birthday party or any social occasion!! The paintball was really good - had an amazing time

Class paintball games, cheers to Emily and Andy very helpful and fun

andy and emily were great hosts of paintball, they made the games very fun and competitive!

Brilliant site to start-off; been going for the past few months for the Airsoft events under 'Halo Mill: Proving Grounds'. The facilities are great with plenty of seating and space allocation for your kit and gear - if the main hall runs out of spots then there's an overflow section with long benches so even if the site is almost at capacity, you're guaranteed a spot. The food they offer at lunch is actually quite decent alongside cheap - spent £4.75 for a burger and a can of soda which is far cheaper than anywhere else that I've been. Regarding the day itself; the briefing was engaging with jokes thrown here and there. Game wise, there is timed objectives active throughout the day which keeps gameplay engaging as it prevents you from standing in one spot just picking off players. Overall, I recommend anyone and everyone to go if they get the opportunity - this site is amongst my top 5 without a doubt.

Brilliant site brilliant gameday excelleant marshalling too

Great site with onsite snacks and refreshments loads of activities available Archery axe throwing airsoft and nerf

Very good and very fun a activities available here really fun staff as well up for some banter

Angie Clarkie Ben and Charlie were brilliant very kind instructors made the day extremely fun

Amazing day! Amazing staff! Quality time had by all our party. Thank you

I've been paintballing, airsofting (Proving Grounds), and air rifle shooting here. Always a great experience. Food and drinks, some equipment for sale, space to get your gear out even when there's about 300 people turning up! Andy is fab, always chatting and making sure everyone's opinion is heard with respect to the site and facilities.

We came and celebrated today with a game of gelball for my son’s birthday, fantastic staff, attentive and friendly. Such a great set up and everything ran so smoothly. We booked the zombie party room also which went down a storm the boys absolutely loved it such a great idea. Andrew and Emily were very attentive in making sure all the children were happy with the dark lights, zombies and spooky noises as they have different levels of lighting etc letting them go have a look first before committing. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect birthday party setting or just a fun day out with friends! We can’t wait to return.

Amazing experience. The best paintball site in the UK by miles. 100% recommend. Already planning the next visit. Cheers to Clarky, Andy, Karren and Angie.

Absolutely amazing! Very well organised, my son did paint balling for his 12th birthday and loved it. Staff are amazing, cleanliness of the whole place amazing!! It was just a really good fun filled day everyone who attended loved it too!! Can’t wait to come back.

Kitty and her best friends had an amazing time. Thoroughly explained and good safety for kids & adults. Well deserved 5 star rating. Brilliant!

Awesome angie and Clarkie were fantastic - fabulous experience! Very happy with what we got! Thanks to you!

Angie and Clarkie were amazing, a great set of people.

Booked a VIP experience here, last year. However, due to illness, we had to postpone until today. The owner was absolutely understanding and couldn’t have accommodated us more - not every centre would have done the same! Then we had to change dates again, due to an unexpected family visit and again the centre accommodated our needs. Therefore, I could not recommend the owners more 10/10 🌟 When all is booked you get so much helpful literature, which again is not the same as some venues. And confirmation is prompt, with helpful 3 words, to get there and not lost. However, my daughter did get lost, because her car is big and she didn’t see the sign, but the staff helped her get there quickly and safely ❤️ 10/10 🌟 Health and safely was a must and it was gone through at an age appropriate way. The staff didn’t mind how many times people asked questions, or how many times they had to go over/break things down, they were still happy and helpful. Some places it is once and then dismissed; even if it’s not been understood. 10/10 🌟 Unlike most activity centres, for lunch it’s either burger, hotdog, or something similar - with a vegetarian option too! I’ve been to many different centres and the options have always been a pit noodle! The hotdog isn’t a small one either and fills you up nicely. It’s all wrapped in a special bag, so it’s piping hot on delivery - unlike many venues. 10/10🌟 I could not praise the entertainment staff more. They were really bubbly and extremely helpful; trying to give the birthday person as much of a special day, as they could - with Lots of little hidden extra treats. Every member of staff went out of their way, to make the day as special and enjoyable as it could ever have been. The rain didn’t even affect any enjoyment! 10/10 🌟 The centre doesn’t only do paintballing, but also, axe throwing; lasers quest; archery and special monthly/seasonal events. Please check out their website for more details! If I was to say anything that could be improved upon, it would be a bigger sign (in both directions) and photos/footage that you could purchase on the day. ❤️ Everyone had a fantastic time, from the young, to the older ones! The workers really worked hard, to make this possible and it really paid off! 🥇 10/10 The girls were scared, that the balls would hurt, as they have in the past. But, this centre follows every guideline and has a specialist team, that check the equipments pressure, to make that the ball don’t hurt. Again, not like every other venue, which can leave you covered in bruises! 10/10 🌟 If you’re thinking of a special event: stags and hens; gender reveal; birthday parties; or just a fun day out, then this is the Place for you and it’s easy to get to! 10/10🌟 Thank you guys, for helping us make beautiful memories 🤗 10/10 🌟

Will and crew had a fab day paintballing for his birthday 🎂. The team are epic and looked after us really well. Thank you x

What a great day, from start to finish. Welcomed by Clarky and Charlie who both continued to make the day fantastic. They made sure we got our moneys worth for the experience and made it enjoyable throughout the games. Will definitely be returning again. Definitely the best paintball I have been too, well worth the money. The effort put into the different areas/games was fantastic to see. The bridge game.... just wow. Many thanks from the 12 of us today from Scarborough.

My son wanted to do paintballing for his 18th birthday party. after a quick search, Yorkshire activity park came up. Looked into it and booked the 90 minute session for 10 people. WOW. What a day we had. SO much fun was had by all, safety was the first and foremost priority but did not impact the experience at all. Clarky was an absolute hoot, the boss man was great, explained everything clearly and my son and the whole family had a fantastic day. We will definitely be returning for a re match!!!

Clarke and the staff are amazing and funny thank U term for making everyone welcome xx 💕

Great day out, had lots of fun. Definitely will come again. 👍👍👍

An excellent day's team building. Loved the chance to try air rifle and archery in a safe setting. Can't wait for the next team event!

What a brilliant day. Thank you to the wonderful staff who were really helpful and informative, the young ladies were brilliant on the day especially a young lady called Emily she explained all the rules and safety aspects of each activity. Well done 5 stars

I've been to this site in several decades. Paintball, Air Rifle, Airsoft have all been fun and safe. I'm a regular for the Halo Mill: Proving Grounds event normally on the first Sunday of the month. Always improving, always fun, always a good day out for people of all ages. Food on site, car parking (drive slowly down the lane, this is a woodland area), a safe zone where you can leave your gear and have a drink before getting back into it. HPA for your tank, paint and other consumables ready to buy. I hope to carry on visiting for many years to come.

Staff was amazing and super friendly. We had wonderful time and would definitely come back again.

Excellent service, would 100% recommend to anyone who loves paintball

Amazing place, highly recommend, amazing place

Had a.gel ball 8 year old bday party for my son and it was great! Really well organised. Thank you

Great place with friendly, helpful staff. We took my step-son and his mates here for his 13th birthday and they had a blast. Good value too. The staff were brilliant and helped us to truly embarrass him (he was dressed up as a banana for one game). We'll certainly be back. Highly recommended.

Had a great day paintballing at Yorkshire Activity Park. Such a well ran facility and Clarkey boy and Ange were excellent hosts for our friends stag do, had a great laugh and unlike any other facility, they gave out free paint! Would highly recommend!

Top day! Clarky & Angie were great, Caron is the office too!! Really fun and clear formats! Will be coming again. Cheers.

Came as a group with work a couple of weeks ago and had the best day. Loads of fun, the guys made it a good laugh, really friendly atmosphere and great courses/games. Thanks!

All airsofters need to try this site. You will absolutely love it. Amazing staff and they days are well constructed. And to top it off the photographers there have some amazing talent

Brilliant fun ,friendly and helpful staff, highly recommend for all occasions

On being invited to Y.O.A.P to be part of a family day (we are in our later years) and unsure... The day started with a great welcoming by Andy owner of the activity park. The Marshals Angie and Clarkie introduced us to a rifle shooting, longbow and axe throwing. These events brought back memories of our youth in the 1960's where lots of families had an air rifle. Again the Marshals were brilliant, they had time and patience to lead us through these events introducing a little competition among other family members of all ages. A thoroughly brilliant day which I would highly recommend to all, give it a go....

Thanks to Andy & Team for sorting us out during Halomil event. Went above and beyond including repairing my RIF with a soldering gun 😂

Wonderful staff great very welcoming 5/5 stars 🌟 on every event definitely would recommend to anyone

Great site and very clean. Fully enclosed and the site owners and staff were helpful and friendly

Came for kids party and played nerf wars. My son had a fantastic time and wants to book a party here himself. Great friendly staff great place. Thanks for fantastic day

An excellent venue. We brought my daughter for a birthday party. Highly recommended!

Took some students and this place is one of the best paintballing sites we've used. Reasonably priced, great facilities, professional staff (Emily and Andy) and good/fun games. Safety was 10/10 and didn't affect the playing. Will definitely return! 🙂

First time playing here and what a great experience! The staff are funny and friendly. If you’re down for good laugh definitely get yourself down!

Was a great few games. It was mixed teams between our group of 14 with other groups. The first map is a great warm up. And no it’s doesn’t hurt too much if you get shot. The staff are very say and friendly. Though it did really feel like they tried to sell us lots of extras. Tho I was happy about the upgraded gun. Over all I would recommend

Absolutely amazing experience today!! Can not fault one line of it, Angie and clarky were phenomenal mentors, will definitely be coming again. Thank you to all the team for today it was spectacular

What an experience had a great day here Andy and the team could not be more welcoming and attentive helped us out through out the day. And it was my sons birthday and they looked after him with giving him a nice suit to wear what a day highly recommended we will definitely be coming back!!! 😀😀😀

Absolutely brilliant day!! Had a VIP day with 10 of us for our birthdays. Had a couple of problems with some people that turned up later and the Marshalls sorted it straight away and rewarded us with free upgraded guns and free paint balls and a smoke grenade. Thank you to Emily for everything today. Highly recommend! Thank you so much everyone!

Absolutely amazing time today (27/10/23) with a group of 10, couldn’t have been looked after better, staff are incredible and set out the rules clearly. We will absolutely be back many many times!! Emily and Clarkey boy were especially attentive, couldn’t do enough for us and we can’t thank them enough!!!

Really great day out. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Tried paintball and loved it. Went back to try air rifle. Loved how patient they were in helping me work out how to adapt to being right handed but left eyed. Can't wait to go again.

It was so fun, 90 minutes three maps for £25. The staff were nice and didn't mind taking our pictures, great location. Andy was ace.

Thank you for an awesome experience! Everyone had a ball, and our son won't forget his 16th birthday event. Thank you for being a part of his day. Great venue, great event, friendly and awesome staff, highly recommend it! Feel like we made two new friends today, so thanks Karen and Andy for hosting our group. We'll be back ... in my best 'Arnold' accent, well it sounds good in my head anyways😆

Amazing day out with the lads. The marshalls and all the staff were great and more than happy to deal with the rowdy group I brought with me. Good Times had and great memories made, will definitely be going back.

Great well organised place. lots of options. decent little cafe and staging area, great Marshalls . bring plenty of money for paint and smoke grenades. £35 for 500 . smoke grenades £5. gun upgrade £10. the woods field is interesting with some great cover and buildings including a plane and a massive bridge to fight over. sorry I forgot the names of our Marshalls but the man and woman were fantastic with our group of kids even when one of ours got benched for safety issues. and fair play to them for a robust response.

Fantastic venue. Booked and attended for an 11 year olds party with a mix of boys and girls, and 2 younger players aged 6. Game - We opted for Laser which is played in the smaller secure gaming map making it ideal for the younger children. They played team challenged and quests, all kids loved it. The game is supervised by an instructor. Our kids just wore trainers and ordinary day clothing, and that suited despite a weeks worth of rain prior to the party. The lis even took their coats off despite it being chilly as they were hot running around. Venue- the atmosphere is epic. Individually designed party rooms that need no party decor simply because the are fantastic without any. A military theme throughout with fluorescent paint and the odd zombies lurking. Party rooms are undercover which makes it great for wet weather. Facilities- outdoor porter loos, indoor cafe which is well stocked with hot and cold drinks and food. They take cash or card. Food is good value. There is picnic bench seating inside for all, or you can stay in the party room while your kids play. You can go outside to watch and take pictures of the kids playing. Party food- the children get a minimum of 2 pizza slices, 1 hot dog, crisps and chocolate bars with cold fruit drinks or water. They catered for those gluton intoleranant, although this limits the child to two slices of gluton free pizza, so do bring snacks to add to your child's meal. There was enough hotdogs and pizza left for children to either have an extra pizza slice or hotdog in a party of 13 kids. The food room is a 2nd party room your kids have sole use of, and this is decorated differently, so in essence you get the run of two themed rooms. Cost - amazing value. For 12 kids with food playing laser it is £160. If an extra child turns up on the day, you can include them for the game and food for an additional £12.50 per child. The venue can accommodate upto 18 as a child party. This resolves the issue of when someone forgets to rsvp. Other info - there is adequate parking. Staff - eager to help, well organised, engaging and friendly, and that's all the staff. They are a fantastic team - thank you for making the Benson party the best party ever. Closing points- it was epic, best party venue ever. Great atmosphere, lovely surroundings. We will be back. Very safe and secure, very well organised. Id be happy to bring a party of primary year 1s to this venue. Its great for this age and above, and for a parents day out with friends. We are huge fans.
