How your survival score works.
It's not random. Your percentage comes from how you actually perform.
Tuition First
Every discipline goes safety briefing, demonstration, tuition, practice, then scored competition. Scores only count after you've practised.
Air Rifles
Safe handling, position, sight alignment, breathing and trigger control. Rewards calm over confidence.
Archery
Stance, draw, anchor point, aim and release. It can completely change the leaderboard.
Axe Throwing
Grip, stance, distance and release. Some stick it straight away; some bounce it off with enthusiasm.
Your Best Rounds Count
Your best three scoring rounds from archery and axe throwing are combined with your air rifle score.
The Certificate
Everyone gets a personalised certificate with their final score and Zombie Survival Percentage.

Everything to know before the day.
When should we arrive?
Please arrive 30 minutes before your start time for registration and the safety and scenario briefing.
Who can take part?
Participants must be aged 12+ and in School Year 7 or above. The minimum group is 4 and the maximum 15.
What should we wear?
Comfortable outdoor clothes and secure, closed-toe shoes. Avoid very loose clothing around the arms and shoulders.
What if it rains?
The activity areas are covered, but it's still an outdoor venue, so dress for the weather.
Accessibility
The three disciplines have different physical demands. Call before booking about any mobility concern, injury or access need.
Spectators
If non-players are coming with your group, let us know before booking so we can arrange the best set-up.

Book in advance. Online bookings are paid in full; phone bookings can usually be secured with a £100 deposit.

What is Zombie Apocalypse Training?
A two-hour survival challenge created at Yorkshire Outdoor Activity Park. You learn air rifle shooting, archery and axe throwing, then your scores become your Zombie Survival Percentage.
How much does it cost?
£50 per person for a private two-hour session, including all equipment, tuition, scored rounds and a personalised certificate.
Is it actually scary?
No. It's designed to be funny and competitive, not frightening. There are no actors chasing you and no horror maze.
Are there real zombies?
No. This considerably reduces our staffing and insurance difficulties.
Is the survival percentage random?
No. It's calculated from your best rounds of archery and axe throwing plus your air rifle score.
Do I need experience?
No. Every discipline includes tuition and practice before scoring starts.
How many people can take part?
Between 4 and 15 people.
How old do you have to be?
