Who runs it?
Zombie Uprising is owned and operated by ZU Events Ltd and hosted at the park, which ZU calls The Woods – York. The park doesn't run the event itself.
How do we book?
All bookings are made on the official Zombie Uprising website, where you'll find the latest dates and start times.
Is it scary?
It's built for the brave-hearted. If you're easily frightened or offended, this might not be the experience for you.
Who can take part?
Ages 16 and over, and every booking must include at least one adult over 18. A disclaimer is signed on the day.
Can friends watch?
No. Spectators aren't permitted at Zombie Uprising events.
Food and drink
Hot food and drinks are available from the park's food counter.
Gift cards
Zombie Uprising gift cards are posted with an official Summons Document, in a branded envelope that gives nothing away.

What is Zombie Uprising?
A three-hour live-action zombie survival experience, hosted at Yorkshire Outdoor Activity Park and run by Zombie Uprising (ZU Events Ltd). Survivors use supplied airsoft weapons against live actors playing the undead.
How much does Zombie Uprising cost?
£50 per person.
How old do you have to be?
16 or over, and every booking must include at least one adult over 18.
Is there a minimum group size?
No. You can come on your own and join the other survivors, or bring a group.
How many people are at each event?
Events can have up to about 40 survivors.
How do I book?
On the official Zombie Uprising website, which has the latest dates and start times.
Can spectators watch?
No. Spectators aren't permitted.
Is it the same as Zombie Apocalypse Training?
No. Zombie Apocalypse Training is the park's own scored challenge in archery, axes and air rifles, with no actors. Zombie Uprising is a live-action experience with actors and airsoft weapons.
Is it suitable if I scare easily?
Probably not. It's crafted for the brave-hearted.
