How the game works.
- Attack the Crystal Skull Push through the Village, eliminate defenders and take the enemy's Crystal Skull.
- Eliminate opponents A clean hit from a foam-tipped arrow puts an opposing player out of the game.
- Bring your team back Catch an enemy arrow cleanly before it hits the ground and your whole team returns.

How Battlezone Archery works.
Team competition, not target scoring. Your instructor explains the bows, the battlefield and the rules first.
Eliminate Opponents
A hit from an opposing foam-tipped arrow can take a player out, and losing several at once leaves your objective exposed.
Catch to Revive
Catch an opposing arrow cleanly before it touches the ground and your whole team comes back into the game.
The Crystal Skull
Reach and strike the enemy's Crystal Skull while defending your own. Balance attack and defence.
Bows Built for It
Specially designed bows and foam-tipped arrows, with instruction on holding, loading, drawing and firing under control.

Everything to know before the day.
When should we arrive?
Please arrive 30 minutes before your start time for registration and the briefing.
Who can play?
Participants must be in School Year 7 or above. A parent or guardian e-signs the participant form for under-18s.
What should we wear?
Comfortable outdoor clothes and trainers or boots with good grip, suitable for moving around the Village.
What if it rains?
It normally continues in ordinary rain. High winds, lightning or other unsafe conditions may mean postponement, with another date or booking credit offered.
Booking and Payment
Book in advance; the minimum group is 10. Online bookings are paid in full; phone bookings can usually be secured with a £100 deposit.

What is Battlezone Archery?
Battlezone Archery is a combat-archery team game created at Yorkshire Outdoor Activity Park. Teams use specially designed bows and foam-tipped arrows across the 27-building Village, eliminating opponents and attacking the enemy Crystal Skull.
How much does Battlezone Archery cost?
£25 per person for a private one-hour session, including bows, foam-tipped arrows, instruction and the safety briefing.
Is it the same as normal archery?
No. Traditional archery is about hitting a static target. Battlezone Archery is a moving team game against other players.
Do I need archery experience?
No. Complete beginners can play. The instructor explains the equipment before the game.
Is it private?
Yes. Standard Battlezone Archery bookings are private to your group.
What happens if I get hit?
A valid hit can eliminate you, but your team can bring everyone back by catching an opposing arrow cleanly before it touches the ground.
What is the Crystal Skull?
The other team's objective. Defend your own while trying to reach and strike theirs.
How old do you have to be?
Players must be in School Year 7 or above.
Does it go ahead in the rain?
Yes, it normally continues in ordinary rain. If we postpone for safety, you'll be offered another date or booking credit.
