The short answer.
Junior Paintball is real outdoor paintball made for children, with lower-powered markers at about a third of adult speed. Every session is private to your group: 90 minutes, three 20-minute missions and your own marshal.
From School Year 5 (around age 9 to 10), £25 per child, or £30 with party food and a private party room.
Sundays at 10am, 12pm and 2pm, plus midweek sessions on any weekday for groups of 10 or more.
What it’s actually like.

Masks on, teams picked, and the marshal leads the first mission. Within minutes, the shyest child is planning an ambush.
Each session has three structured missions across permanent zones: Speedball (one of the original 1988 zones, with trenches and windmills), the Frontline (natural terrain, a river and concrete defences) and the Village, with 27 buildings to attack and defend.
If a child is hit, they go back to their start point and straight back in. Respawns are unlimited, so nobody misses out.
Does it hurt?
No. The markers fire at about a third of adult speed, so children feel the hit, but it doesn’t hurt. Full-face masks and coveralls are worn throughout, and UKPSF-trained marshals give a child-friendly safety briefing first.
Who it suits.

- Birthday parties from Year 5, with groups of 10 to 50.
